I pulled a recovery.img and a boot.img using the dd command in the adb shell as described in this post. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1935162

I'm thinking I might just build cwm recovery as described in the post but it would take forever vs. using the recovery builder webpage. I however cannot locate how to pull a proper system.img as I have read the dd command won't pull a proper image. Along with the fact that I can't locate the other files needed for the Recovery builder page I might just build it for the device myself. I have also been searching for some help on this topic.

I know this is an older thread but does anyone think a custom recovery/ROM will ever happen? I know it's a cheap phone but spec wise it's not that bad.
