How can I get the navigation instruction to come through my Jabra BT135 ?? The instructions come through the phablet's speakers, and in a noisy car it's no good...... They will play through my Nokia BH-503 but I usually don't want to encumber me with the stereo headphones. Both are connected through bluetooth. And I have the same problem on my GalaxyTab (original) (don't know if it's the same on my GalaxyS+) -- Thomas Wendell Helsinki, Finland Translations to/from FI/SWE not always accurate
I have the Samsung hm3300 and I noticed i can't play music through Bluetooth and have it voice navigation. I had to close the music player (even though i wasn't actively playing music) to get the navigation voice to work.
From what I've read, the Jabra BT135 doesn't support A2DP, so you wouldn't be able to get Navigation sound through your bluetooth. A2DP is what allows that to happen.
Your bluetooth is A2DP, but not sure why you can't get both navigation and music running at the same time. I've done it so many times. That said, I use PowerAmp, so maybe it has something to do with using the stock music player and navigation at the same time. I don't really use the stock music player, so I'm not sure if there's a setting where you can have both playing at the same time.
Sorry, I should've been more clear, A2DP allows for any audio playback (whether it's music, navigation, etc.). Without A2DP, you'll only be able to receive calls. Here's the wiki info that'll help explain the details behind A2DP http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile#Advanced_Audio_Distribution_Profile_.28A2DP.29
Sorry, got interrupted... No, I don't play music.. I just use earpiece for phhone functions (Jabra135)/(seldom the headset(Nokia BH-503) it's easier than groping for the phone from pocket... So far can't afford a dashboard stand for those one a month I needdriving instructions.. under Settings-BT-?? there was 2 "profiles" (long press) for the noka bh-503, while only one for the jabra135.... don't remember what they were, as they're not connected now.... (sorry but now i'm drunk...)
Okay, when you get sober, re-read this thread. What I'm saying to you is that your jabra135 does not have A2DP bulit in. So, if you want navigation instructions to be read to you on your earpiece, you have to buy a bluetooth headset that has A2DP bulit in. There are plenty of very good bluetooth headsets that have it built in nowadays that are inexpensive.
Yeah, 1 (one) model readily available at my favorite store (verkkokauppa.com, Helsinki,Finland) for 90euros...
