Help Navigation Voice

Does anyone know if its possible to change the voice on the navigation? Not too fond of the robotic women voice

I think that you're stuck with Miss Robot until Google enable aftermarket voices, or you use one of the other Navigation softwares.

I don't mind her voice tone. I just wish she would stop talking total nonsense. But that would require a working GPS.

Atleast she pronounces the street names around me correct. With the TomTom app on the Iphone, almost no street names were pronounced correctly.

Is there a time frame as to when another voice will be released?
i am running Froyo 2.2 on my HTC Desire HD, I've removed all the excess voices, i have the australian mail voice selected as the spoken voice in the GPS and still the GPS insists that it speaks in an US female a.k.a. robot voice.
Is this the voice that we're all refering to?

Well I would advice you to change the software to. There is many better once out there. Basically the built in google sucks big time.
