Just found the Navionics App. for android. Does anyone have any experience with this app? I've been waiting for a good coastal nav app. and this looks like it. Does it have local tide stations?
    Thanks

I've not tried the Navionics app for adroid. Though I've used their PC based stuff and liked it. According to their marketing blurb it shows both tides and currents. If it's a decent navigation app, $15 isn't a bad price. I've got a Garmin chart plotter on board, but this could be a backup or planning app.

For tide info I use TideApp. It gives clear concise data, and lets you set favorites so you can quickly see tide info for the location(s) you care most about.

By the way, where do you boat? St Augustine, Fl here.

Thanks for the info, I'm mostly in Georgia and South Carolina (Beaufort Area). I also use the TideApp it's a great app, just thought the Navionics might be a bit better. I'm definitely interested in the charting aspect.
