    Wow! Can't believe there hasn't been more interest in this. Nice find. Looks promising. Prob wont make it in the EVO though.

    Sounds gimmicky for the time being. A lot of that can be done with bluetooth and lots of people would have to support it. Until there is a standard I don't see them bothering to include this hardware.

    it wont make the evo in this iteration, but definitely something to look forward to. not a gimmick-this technology(rfid) is used in hospitals, military and supply chains, etc. this is very big in europe and asia. of course the u.s. will be the last to adopt it, as usual. but android is poised to completely overthrow anything apple has in terms of lifestyle-on-the-move.

    This seems pretty cool, but obviously it would take quite a while to implement properly. Even if the EVO did somehow get it, I don't believe it would use it very effectively.

    Give it a year or so by the time the replacement for the EVO comes along and I see this being a much more feasible add-on.
