I have tried so many apps to locate our phones using GPS. I like to see where my kids are at.

I like the results of SMS GPS apps.

The problem is my phone only worked one time with "Where's My Droid" and then stops working. I have tried several of these SMS apps and other locator monthly services. I hope to find an app that does not have a monthly fee.

Do you know any rock solid app for GPS location? Thanks.

Please I downloaded Tasker on my Nexus 1 and I have tried to learn how to use the app with no luck...I am a rookie and I will appreciate if you can help me or refer me to any link where I can learn how to use this app properly and fully. I have many other apps that I read so many great things about and have no clue on how to use and get the maximum satisfaction everyone is talking about on them...any useful links or instructions on these will be greatly appreciated...these are some other apps I need help with...Asterid Tasks, Launcherpro, Astro, Dropbox, Gmail Notifier, Home switcher.., , Mint.com, Wifi Analyzer, Wifi Manager

    Thanks and God bless

Hehehe No Sorry. There are many resources for Tasker; Google groups, wikis etc. But unless your a little technical Tasker is not for you.

Try out the sample profiles on the Tasker site even if they're not relevant to you. You'll learn just from implementing and testing them out. The site also has documentation.

Once you've spent some time with it, don't overlook Tasker's forums as well as the forums here. Your questions at this point are really way too vague. Once you have some specific questions, post here and we can help.
