I need an email app that uses POP3 and deletes messages from the server as soon as they are downloaded to my phone. Does such an app exist?

I would think that many of the email apps could. I would try a few.

    Hi

Yes, the default "email" app on my note2 allows you to configure a pop server address as the incoming mail server. Have a look at the manual settings on your default email app.

I've tried 3 of them to no avail... The default mail app only has options to never delete and to delete from server when deleted from phone...

    Mmm

Well, you could set up a gmail account and in settings>accounts and import use the "check mail from other accounts" feature. This pulls the pop3 mail into gmail and deletes it from the original server (but it would be on the gmail server instead until you delete it)

You would also be able to send, using your pop3 email address, from the gmail account

Not a perfect solution but one I'll have to go with. Thanks for your assistance.
