Support need help debranding phone i have followed guides and still nothing

    hi i am trying to debrand my phone i know there i guides up here and i have tried using them and still no luck i cant get my phone in to download mode.
    i have turned on usb debugging mode and then tried to reset the phone by pressing volume up home and power button but it puts me in to 3e mode and only give me the options to reboot phone apply update from sdcard wipe data wive cache .
    tried it with usb in and usb out sim card in sim card out memory card in memory card out still same thing can any one help.

    it is on 3g and it is gingerbread .xwkf4
    android version 2.3.3

    can any one help

    To boot into Download Mode, hold VOL_DOWN + HOME + POWER.

    To get into download mode turn your phone off. Then press and hold volume DOWN, power and menu until you're phone boots. Then you need to press volume up to confirm.

    one other quick question does this unlock the phone also or do i need to do somethink else

    If you mean unlock to any network then no. There's an app on the market called gs2 unlock or something like that. Once you're rooted download and run that.
