Location 0 is auto install. (The phone will install apps where it sees fit)

Location 1 is internal. (The phone will ONLY install on internal storage)

Location 2 is external. (Only installs in external storage)

This was one of the first methods I tried, but it did not work for me, it keeps installing apps to the internal memory of the phone even though when I go to verify if I did it correctly it says that the default install location is the external memory, thanks for your help though. Really appreciate it.

Yup it fails on my s3. I can set it but it tells me (when I've got like 5 GB's of space) insufficient space. So I reset to location 0 and all was fine.

The Link2SD app works for me.. I guess it doesn't work for everyone, but it won't brick your phone trying.

Note: You'll need to add a partition to your external sd card. Lots guides here on how to do that.

Finally something that works! thank you so much man, this worked like a charm.

For anybody else that wants to try this here is the post that you can follow: [Guide] INCREASING INTERNAL MEMORY - xda-developers

And the software I used to partition the SD card: MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Good Luck!:D
