where can i get the latest CM7 on LG optimus M...phone rooted on gingerbreak 1.2
I've just had a look through the Cyanogen forums and I don't believe it's officially supported.
Look in the all things root section. Its still a beta tho.
I should probably have looked there first
And moved the thread to the root section.
how exactly do i get cm7 2.3.4 running with tethering...its not supported on CM
You need to get a tethering app from the market to have it on the Optimus M. That's the only way. Don't see why you'd want to tether to dial-up unless it's a dire situation.
when is metro starting 3g? it should be soon bcuz they have 4g phones and no service supporting
ive researching alot...but wasnt LG suppose to come out with a gingerbread for our lg optimus m phones? it would also be nice to have flash
There is no Metro 3G. It's either 1x or buy a 4G phone. This is why almost everyone uses WiFi at home and work.
Gingerbread updates started rolling out late June for the Optimus One line, the one ours is branded after. However this was released for Romania. It might still be a few months before stateside versions of the Optimus family see Gingerbread, and depends on how long Metro takes to test and add their crap to it.
Optimus M will never have Adobe Flash. It is coded for faster phones only. This was a typo on the box and LG is still catching hell for it.
