I had a Droid2 left in my cab. After 2 weeks no one has called to claim it so its all mine. It has a password lock on it. Is there a way to break the password so i can do a hard reset and try to find someone to do a swap or sell it...

Return it to Verizon so they can maybe notify the owner. Wouldn't you want your phone returned to you if it were lost?

Besides, once that phone is reported lost the ESN will be listed as bad and it will no longer be able to be activated on Verizon.

A VZW store will be able to locate the user based on the phone's ESN number. If the phone was reported stolen or lost then even if you were able to gain access to the system, VZW would block the phone from being activated since the ESN would have been placed in a blacklist.

Sorry bud, but the only recourse is to get it to a store and turn it in.
