Help Need help with ICS update probs on a GT-P7500

A week or so ago my tab told me I had an update. Turns out it was ICS.

I did not know that one should factory reset BEFORE installing the new OS.

Now Kies won't see my tab so I can't do an emergency factory restore,
I have no sound, can't play audio files or video files. Skype crashes.

I don't know what to do.

I'm leaving on a trip in 3 odd hours and REALLY need to fix this.

I'm currently looking at that Odin program and finding somewhere to download the firmware but I fear I'm just going to turn my much needed device into a frisbee.

Can anyone PLEASE help?! I'm desperate to fix it asap.
