My husband is having a problem with his tablet. Hope someone can help. When you turn it on you get an error message "factory data restoring, please waiting......" It will not do anything else. It has a android 2.2 OS.

Sorry posted in the wrong thread.

    Hi all
Little about my self..hmmm....we hubby and I will soon be having our 40th wedding anniversary. Nothing else is really important.

    Welcome to Android Forums, Becca.

We will need a little more information, like make and model of the tablet.

    Welcome to AF! :)

From what I can gather, that tablet appears to be the Wondermedia WM8650. We have a subforum for it here: WonderMedia WM8650 - Android Forums

If that's the case and it is one of those, apparently, it could be a simple case of just keeping your finger on the power button too long whilst turning on (seems unlikely) or you need to contact the vendor for a firmware update or a replacement.

Unfortunately, as it appears to be one of the generic, chinese tablets, solid information on it is somewhat elusive.
