I now have the 2.1 Moto Droid update. It still only has 3 screens. I would like 5. Does anyone downloaded an app that has increased the number of screens that you really liked?

    HelixLauncher.
There are a lot of threads, do a search for it. You don't want HelixLauncher2, just HelixLauncher.

I use Helix, but not for the extra homescreens (I have it set to 3 screens). I use it for the dock at the bottom, the 4 apps that appear beside the app drawer that never move. I think this is the best feature of Helix and for some reason no one ever mentions it. I am sure the only reason this isn't stock is to avoid an apple lawsuit!

It was mentioned plenty in the original helix thread and I doubt Apple could sue even if it was stock on the N1.

Lately it seems like apple is suing everyone (HTC and Nokia that I know about for sure) just because they are falling so far behind in the cell phone industry that they revolutionized. The 4 app dock has been stock on the iPhone ever since the original iPhone launch.

Apple didn't revolutionize the cell phone industry. That was done by companies like GTE, Motorola, and Nokia who made cell phones smaller than the size of a car battery. Even the smartphone industry was revolutionized by Palm. I'm sure they could go and sue everyone if they had the money to do it.

The only thing Apple "revolutionized" was the touchscreen.

Start putting your apps in folders and load them up!!! I only have the stock 3 screens but I have a bunch of apps spread out among several folders so I have no need for more screens.
