Help Need navigation back

I have an AT&T Galaxy Note I717 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 , Google Maps updated and the "Navigation" app disappeared. Does anyone know how to get it back. I rolled the Google Maps back to previous release and navigation is still a no-show.

One time my Maps app disappeared completely and it was due to my phone accidentally booting up in Safe mode. If this is the case for you, you'll want to just power off your phone and power it back on so that it can start up normally.

Also make sure that your app isn't accidentally hidden.

Thanks, Droidunited. I have rebooted several times with no results. The navigation icon (Blue circle with yellow arrow) disappeared when Google Maps updated to the latest release. I tried to roll back the update with an uninstall with no results. I'm not sure where to find it if it is hidden.

Well, I surrender! I have uninstalled Google Maps and then reinstalled. GPS is useable again.
