hey man, sorry that i camt help you because i use cupcake, but i`d say if standard browser is able to connect it is a defect in opera mini. why dont you use steel or dolphin? both of them are supperior to standard bowser and verry feature rich.

Do note that Opera Mini requires access to their servers to render the page. So this browser will not work with hotspots without first logging in.

Good point. Try opening a page in the standard browser first.

    thanks you guy!
but i'm using the wifi at home, and i have checked the connections with the standard browser. Opera mini actually worked when i was at cupcake at home!

anyway, dolphin is good. but in fact opera is actually blinking fast when surfing some common web like nytimes, bbc.
