I need to do a factory reset on my phone because it's having some major problems. How exactly do I go about backing up all of my data? (pics, apps, music, text, video, contacts) I can't use Kies because, thanks Samsung, it doesn't support Vibrant. I can't afford to purchase any apps to do this right now either. My phone is not rooted at this time.

I would plug the phone into your computer, mount it for "Mass Storage" and just copy everything from the 2 phone disks to a couple directories on your computer. The phone should also have an option for Google to backup the apps - I don't remember where that option is.

    Hope this helps.
