Nesoid works the best for me, better than the ones I found in the market at the time and no ads.

It's not on the market though.

I didn't remember it costing money, maybe he wasn't charging when I got mine.

Last time I checked, Emulators are illegal (copyright violation) and this board does not condone illegal activities.

Emulation is not illegal. In fact, downloading legacy ROMs has become a legal practice. The ESA establishes which ROMs are fair play and which are still copyrighted. While most of the regulars (Sonic, Mario, Final Fantasy, etc.) are illegal to download, you'd be shocked at just how many quality titles have entered the public domain.

Google has removed most if not all the emulators from the Android market. You can still get them at other marketplaces like slideme. When they were available on the android market they usually had lite versions that did not allow save states and full paid version that did. You may wish to check some of the alternative markets like slideme to see if they still have the light versions out. Yhongz was the best dev for emulation IIRC his emulators usually end in -oid (nesoid, snesoid, gameboid...)

I encourage you to check the link Frisco posted as it has most the major emulators listed and links to them in alternative legit markets.

if you use the slideme.org market, you can find NESoid, and I believe it is free. And this is not illegal, as many of the Phandroid writers have mentioned emulation, and yongzh in several posts. Yongzh moved his emus to slideme.org
