While in the VZW store a few days ago, I spoke with the Store Manager about being disappointed in returning my LG Revolution (with Netflix) for the Charge (without). He stated that once all the phones are updated to Gingerbread they've been told that Netflix will be able to be run on the phone. Is anyone able to confirm/deny this?

Second question - Coming from a Droid2 and rooting the hell out of it, I'm concerned about a comment that was made while in the same store I mentioned above. The SM stated with the SIM cards being installed, VZW is now able to tell if you're rooted or not automatically since they have more access to the phone remotely. If you're phone is rooted at the time you call in for repair and they detect it, then your warranty is voided and that's the end of the support call.

Any verification on this too? Maybe from a VZW support rep?

    Thanks
