I need help configuring my router and tinyCam Monitor app. Here is my setup, Asus RT-N13U rev. B router, Tablet running Android 2.3, and 2 IP Foscams.

My goal: To run the IP Cameras that are directly plugged into the router, wirelessly access the cameras through my tablet using tinyCam Monitor (which it does work), then utilize the recording function with tinyCam Monitor and record the cameras saving the files wirelessly to the a hard drive connected to my router.

Here is where I need some help. I have an external hard drive connected to my router via the USB port, works fine, I can transfer back and forth. I have the IP cameras plugged into the router and I am using the tinyCam Monitor app, which works very well and I am able to view both cameras. I am not going to pretend that I know much about this post. But, if you have a router broadcasting wifi each device connected to the router should have an IP address and be visible to an application on your tablet.

In my experience, I do not want to look at a hard drive attached to my router, I want to look at the hard drive on my computer.

If you go to the Market and get the app Remote Web Desk Top or go the Amazon and get the app Splashtop Remote Desktop you should be able to accomplish anything with your cameras and hard drive, the same as if you were performing tasks from your tablet to your computer.

Other than that, I found two links about your router which may lead you to a forum that is more specific to the task at hand.
