Does anyone know of an Android app that will allow you to track which applications are using the network connections and to track how much data they are transmitting/receiving.
Possibly an enhancement for those copious amounts of monitoring applications out there? I am seeing lots of traffic usage but have no idea which applications are chewing through the bandwidth.

    Any help appreciated.

    HTC Desire.
    not rooted (if that helps).

    1. Download the Forums for Android™ app!

  2. I desperately need this also. As i seem to be recieveing a lot of data but have no idea what it is thats sending me data.

10meg today in only 2 hrs. Surely not right in my eyes. hardly touched the damn phone :(

    Any help much appreciated!

I get an error indicating my version of Android doesn't support battery history information. How do I correct this? I'm running the latest version of GB, rooted.

My co-worker started using My Data Manager, which gives a list of each app, and how much data they use respectively:

I second this app. I use this and its very easy to use and has a widget and can be placed in the notification bar. Also, has a notification of data limits you set.
