Hey guys, I finally finished downloading most of the stuff necessary to start developing Android stuff :D just thought I would stop in and ask for some advice and hints tips and tricks some of the more experienced developers have.

Mods if this is in the wrong place please move it. Thanks

If you're new to android you should read the official developers guide, it's really helpful to new developers.
The Developer's Guide | Android Developers

I don't know if this still applies but the android ADT plugin doesn't work properly with eclipse 3.6 so you would need to download the 3.5 release.

Also success. If you have any questions regarding android development feel free to ask them here.

Problems, Errors and Crashing are the best things that can happen while learning.

Other than that, start basic play around with a few concepts, skim some tutorials, play with others code and like id0001 says the official developers site is the best place to start.
