Just tested on known problematic flash sites and sound is corrected with this update. (10.1.95.2)
    Woohoo!

i think it was for a security patch actually, it might be coincidence that your sound problem is fixed

I didn't see a change log, and can't say anything about coincidence, but just for kicks, uninstalled the update, and CNET and others started playing slow sound again. Updated, and sound is perfect!
    I'm just thankful it's fixed.

That was 10.1.95.1 that fixed the security issue. 10.1.95.2 is a new release that seems to have corrected audio issues some people experienced.

I just loaded the update as well and I now don't have the slow sound issue.
Yesterday I tried listening to the PGA Tour Live@ and the video was fine but the sound was not. I have it on now and both video and audio are working perfectly.
    Coincidence?

It also makes your phone run faster and more fluidly. There must have been a bug in the last version.

Thank God. It was as if I was listening at one speed and the radio was playing at another.

It's not a "guide for dummies", but what file to edit and what to change are detailed in this XDA thread. Please read the whole thread; the OP is rather obsolete.

Edit: Actually, looks like Adrynalyne has made it "for dummies" after all! Thanks guy.
