It depends what you're looking for.
    Large phone - Note 3.
    Speed - LG G2.
The Nexus 5 is a great all around phone and only $350 (doesn't work on Verizon).

Also, going to a store and testing different phones can help make a decision.

If I were looking for a new phone today, it would probably be the Moto X. Google/Motorola has done some pretty sweet stuff with that phone. I'm hugely jealous of my wife's.

But, as kate mentioned, the decision will largely depend upon what you're looking to do with a new phone, and what carrier you're on. What's a great phone for me may not actually fit your individual needs.

Well I currently have a iPhone 5 it's been a good phone. But is kinda boring. And I hate how apple make anything easy and if you have an issue you have to go through apple ect.
My main concern is reliability. I had an s3 originally and sprint said that phone had some signal strength issues. Apparently it was a software issue. That's why I switched to apple.
So I don't want to have issues like that. I want it to be smooth running and reliable.

Check out the HTC One. I'm a bit particular to that device.
