    Hello all,

I am new to your community and just wanted to introduce myself.

I love mobile tech and really wish to make the jump to that field rather than continue in my current career. I currently am a supervisor in a 911 Police/Fire/EMS dispatch center.

My phone history is pretty much this:

Nextel from 1999 - 2009 (had just about every Nextel iDen phone possible at one point or another)

    Sprint 2009-2010 - BlackBerry 8330 my first "smart"phone

Verizon 2010 - Current - Started off with a BB Storm 2 then made the jump to Android with the OG Droid, back to a BB with the Bold 9530, back to the OG Droid, then onto Droid 2, Droid X, HTC Thunderbolt, Droid X 2 and now I am actually currently using an iPhone 4s.

I have been debating between a Droid RAZR or HTC Rezound but just recently have started looking hard at a Galaxy Nexus. I want a phone that WILL be updated and updated TIMELY.

Hope to learn a lot here!!

    Welcome to the forum 0pusX!

All three are pretty good choices!

When you do decide which one to go for, the first place I'd go would be the sub-forum for the device (to get as much info as possible from other users of your chosen device):

Samsung Galaxy Nexus - Android Forums
Motorola Droid RAZR - Android Forums
    HTC Rezound - Android Forums

I hope you're happy with whichever phone you go for and that you find this place useful!!

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

Sounds like you like variety ;) The biggest difference you'll have with all three handsets is the default launcher. Motoblur, SenseUI and TouchWiz will, to some, seem like entirely different OS's even though they are all Android. ICS should take care of some of this, but it's important that you get some hands-on time before you choose. The GNex is going to be tough since it and ICS aren't out yet.
