new here incredible root ?s

I am a pc tech I got this incredible I have seen the amazing things that can be done. like I said i am a PC tech and dont know anything about rooting except that you can do it. Cut to the chase should I do it. (I like getting my stock updates) but like r these phones really made to be doin this and if yes can I get directions on how to ? any help and even opinions woud really be appreciated.

I don't think root is available for the Incredible, yet.

But the guys at xda-developers are working REALLY hard on it.

And to answer your question. Yes, you should do it, just don't be the first guy that does it.
