Sweet! The battery widget is cool and animated nicely, hopefully this one doesn't drain my battery like so many do.

Well, that definitely sucks.. I wonder why HTC would put out a battery widget that kills the battery, oh well..

Incase anyone at HTC reads these forums...I'd like two changes made if possible.

    1. On the battery widget, when you click to expand it, have a link in there for Battery Use statistics. This way, I can get by with only one battery icon on my settings home screen instead of two.

    2. On the instant record widget...it's too big and ugly. Make it a large red circle to indicate record, but get rid of the huge gray button.

As soon as I figure out how to go back to the HTC "launcher" (using Launcher pro), I'll definitely check this out... I remember seeing it before I loaded Launcher Pro.

How come when I download the Quick Record App. It shows the full download progress in the notification tab but when the download finishes, it doesnt install. Nothing happens after that. I cant add it to my home screen I tried downloading it multiple times and the same thing happens. I tried restarting my phone and that didnt work. I tried turning on wifi and 4g and that didnt fix it.

    Please help. THanks

Dunno if this is the right thread, but either way:

Did you tap it after you downloaded it? Did you download it from the Market or from the web? If it's from the web you need to tap it after you download it to tell Android to install it. That's all there is to it usually.

Well Its on the Apps By HTC page on my EVO. I tap on it and then a page come up that has a download button on the bottom of the screen. All of the other apps on that page Ive downloaded the same way. And after its done it automatically installs and has the word "Installed" written next to the app. This one (Quick Record), just doesnt do it. It downloads but never installs. very weird.

I had a similar problem with my hero. I was downloading the checklist app and when it finished it just said it was still downloading it. The only way to fix it that I know of is a hard reset
