You beat me to the punch this morning and stole my thunder! :)

Don't shoot the messenger here, but this is being reported to be approved by Verizon and be what they will release OTA.

I'm downloading now and will report soon after install.

Well... IF this is truly approved by Verizon as is being reported then shame on them. The VM indicator is STILL BROKEN.

There was another version floating around out there supposedly which was 2.11.605.5. I wonder if maybe that will be the actual version that is someday released?

There is a guy over on Androidcentral that is reporting his VM indicator has always worked...even with the leaks.

Has never worked for me. On the leaks,or roms based on the leaks.

Looks like back to the drawing board ;)

Hasn't worked since I left the Official MR2 behind and I've tried just about all of the GB leaks. I can't believe it's still broken. I know that other VZW phones (Bionic, Droid X) on GB have working indicators.

I loaded the rom version of this without the radio (still on MR2 radio) and the phone is working great so far! I don't know if VM notifications work or not because no one has called me but everything else is good.

If you flashed the entire RUU it includes the new radio, so you are no longer on mr2

I just flashed the rom version, not the RUU. Works great! :)

with this leak, are the blockbuster battery drain updates fixed?

i ran blockbuster, ignored the update screen, and disabled updates.
i still have pvwmdrmservice and pvwmdrmproxy running after disabling updates.
should I update blockbuster (this leak has 1.1.84) to the market version 2.4?
    thx!

btw, i was able to turn off cityid with this leak unlike the last one 2.11.605.2.

also, both i can also confirm both 2.11.605.2 and 2.11.605.3 resolved the camera/camcorder/gtalk FC issue.

They mean on Gingerbread. If you arent rooted, you are still on froyo and its fine. They have the newer operating system installed..

I would like to download/install the 2.11.605.3. I would like to backup my current downloads/configuration so I can keep from having to resetup my phone from Stock again. I have 40+ downloads...

Is there a good way to do this? Help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

    BTW, 2.11.605.0 -
    VM notifications - don't work
Camera - doesn't work.. unless I play the "change the date" game
Blockbuster Apps are still present and running on boot
