Just another reason why I don't use banking apps on my phone.

Banking apps are fine for me, as long as they are secure. I have a VPN; use Malwarebytes; use only the official apps; and always use 2-factor authentication. It's also helpful that we're members of credit unions and have no use for banks... especially the big ones. Scammers are unlikely to target the small guys.
