I'm new to this forum, just got my moment this past Thursday. It's the best damn phone I ever had and I've had a Blackberry 8130 and an HTC Touch Pro. I would like to know about all the intricate pieces of the phone like how to uninstall pre-installed software and such methods.

Welcome to the AF forums and enjoy your visits !!

You can not uninstalled core apps unless you root the phone ... if you dont like them then just dont use them and find substitute apps to do their functions ... Where Possible !

yeah i'm trying to avoid rooting, i've heard stories about people rooting and bricking their Moment's because they do not know what they are doing, when I had the Touch Pro I figured out how to unlock pretty easily. But a linux kernel phone is new to me. Plus, the only app i want remove is moxier mail. The moment comes pre-installed with 3 different e-mail programs Moxier mail, gmail and the default mail client. I don't need the moxier mail app, it's completely useless to have on the phone to me.
