Metro won't force anyone to there new plans, everyone will still have there grandfathered plans, I've seen people have the old $45 unlimited international calling plan still on there feature phone they just get taxed for it. Metro will keep grandfathering your plan as long as you stay with the same type of phone ex. 4glte phone to new 4glte phone can grandfather your plan, etc. It would be a bad move on there part because they have all these people moving to the $30 plan and $55 plan the past few months that they've been available. As for the reason of the change i think it has to do with them dropping MetroStudio completely out of the $70 plan. As for the $30 promo plan that plan is only available to PHONES that have no account history, you can keep your number your just going to need a new phone.
