Just got my notice from Samsung that new Note 7s will arrive at the carriers by 9/21.
Me too. Truthfully I will believe it when I see the tracking number from FedEx telling me it is at my local delivery location and not before.
Got mine also!!! Wednesday I will be there when Verizon Opens!!!
Just got the text from Verizon also. Replacements as of 9/21/2016. Thank Goodness this is almost over!!
I got the Text from Verizon about The 21st also.
Just praying mine doesnt blow up before then. I have no other option to switch to in the meantime.
I am going to get online chatting with verizon soon to see if theyll mail me one. As I said in another thread, I want to have plenty of time with both phones in hand to copy all of my personalization settings that wont transfer through smart switch.
I was told tonight that I could have it mailed if I didn't want to deal with the store. And after all the run around I got trying to get a temporary replacement...which I never got, I prefer NOT to deal with the store.
From a Verizon rep or Samsung rep.. Just wondering. Because I too would rather have mine mailed to my home. Would be easy.
I'm betting the VZW Manager made this special offer only to kokiangel because they were all scared S***less after her numerous calls to them and if she had to come into their store to pick up her Note 7 replacement they were in fear of getting their backsides whooped.
LOL! Actually the offer was from the phone rep and every one of those I have spoken to has been most helpful at least as far as they could be. I appreciated that she recognized my frustration and offered me a viable solution.

Why I bet the CPSC was getting worried about you going Postal on them if they created an unsubstantiated delay of your receiving a new Note 7. They probably called Samsung and told them, "Whatever it takes - just get them into the US pronto and we'll look the other way. The 1st issue needs to be sent to kokiangel on Android Forums ASAP!".
What other reason could there be that all of a sudden the CPSC does this about face?
Aww. ..I tried to keep my cool. Really I did. But 3 weeks is asking a lot of my patience.
Funny I was thinking do I go to the store or have my phone mailed to me. Pictured myself in the store for hours trying to tweak it. Definitely having it mailed!..One other thing, had everybody decided to buy a completely different phone there sure are a lot of memory cards and Fit bracelets out there for free (just got my card Friday).
Verizon is making me go to the store. They will not mail me. Last time I checked my time is worth more than $25.
That would make sense just to avoid any liability of having defective phones floating around. I haven't checked if I could have it mailed to me. Just assumed it. Though you have to sign for it which means waiting around all day or missing the delivery like I did and picking it up at FedEx.
Yep, I just called my point of contact at Sam's Club, and he assured me that I am #1 on the list to call as soon as Verizon Note 7s arrive. Hopefully Tuesday!
You can pre-sign for FedEx. Just an FYI.
I'm just glad they didn't get it sorted by 9/11.... that would've been awkward.....
So my phone didn't injury me by exploding I dropped it on my toe! I think it broke it. Lol.

Yep. It's time for my pedicure. Lol. The picture doesn't do the black and blue of my 2nd toe justice but my nails look good.
I called VZW customer service, she said she had "no info" and connected me to my local store. Got a very rude girl who gave me short answers to all my questions, and said she has no idea when replacement notes will be available. I told her about the "no later than the 21st" claim but that some places have them early. She said they don't have them at this store. I asked her if she was sure, or if anyone else there might have more info. She claimed to be the inventory clerk, so she knew for sure they didn't have any, and she just seemed very annoyed by my call. I can understand if they're getting stressed out because they're probably getting tons of inquiries, but it's your job, perk up or go find a job that doesn't require you to be social.
