Hey guys. My question is what are the upcoming android phones that will be coming out in the next month to 6months. I know the HTC Desire HD but im not quite sure if its coming out in the USA aswell.

But please do inform on the upcoming phones with the phone carrier.

My wife and i both used the G2 and the Vibrant. She likes the vibrant more than the G2 and Im trying to love the G2 but there are a few irks i have and im not sure what im going to do. I have a few days left on my buyers remouse so i can easily return the phone, and revert my family plan back to my single plan.

Was considering a Droid X but the powervr sgx 530 is worse than the andreno 205 and motoblur blows. The HTC incredible is nice but its GPU is even worse than the droid X

So my only option NOW is to relinquish my Vibrant to my wife and then wait for some new phones to release.

Looks neat, but I think they ought to get the original Galaxy S right first!

The myTouch is probably the most interesting thing out there right now. Just another 2 weeks or so I understand...

I should also learn how to spell, lol. And, I agree!

Really pisses me off that T-Mobile is calling this phone the MyTouch 4G. HSPA+ is not 4G.

Anyways comes out nov 3rd. About a week!
The guy is such an idiot, can you believe he believes in benchmarks? Look at that fool running Quadrant, what an idiot:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm just being sarcastic.

    Other phones coming out:
Droid Pro on Verizon, IT WILL BE a CDMA/GSM world phone I think...as Verizon is moving towards GSM for LTE!!!! Meaning Sim card slot hopefully! 3G, 1.3 GHZ, 4 inch screen, sometime in november it comes out.

Samsung also has their Orion chip set coming out, dual core.

The Nexus 2 is rumored to possibly be the next Samsung Google Android Experience Phone. Look for a huge huge announcement from Samsung I think November 8th!

LTE isn't true 4G technology either.

The Droid Pro has already been announced. It's a BlackBerry styled android device. No 4 inch screen or 1.3Ghz processor. It will feature a blackberry style keyboard, 3.1inch capacitive touch screen, and a 1Ghz CPU.

Orion won't be ready for the public until Q4 2011.

I believe that the Samsung-Google phone is real stuff but I don't think we will see it at their event on the 8th. I think they'll show off the Continuum as they haven't officially announced it yet, but there is still a chance they can show off the Google phone.

    droidpro looks ugly.

the G2 will perform the same as the MT4G aka MTHD. it may have a 1ghz but mind you sense and all that jazz. plus the G2 can easily run at the 1ghz speed and run even better. infact i bet the G2 will run just as good if not better than the MT4G

Can't you trade G2 for another Vibrant?

Desire HD is basically the Evo, but with Froyo out the box and more RAM and better GPU. Its nice, but I'm not sure if it will give you full 3g speed on TMobile. I had a friend who bought a Touch Pro but can only get it at Edge speed because the radio frequency difference. Specs below:

    • HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz
    • GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

To be fair, Sprint doesn't have "actual" 4G, either. I think 4G is just a marketing gimmick that just means "pretty darn fast speeds."

watch your words, you might have some annoying statesman come in here and "teach" you about all things Sprint

I love my phone and have absolutley no problem with it except all the broken promises that Samsung breaks. This might be my last product from them. I wish HTC would have some better looking phones for tmobile. I am in love with the way the Incredible looks.

Well I would go to verizon and jump on the X but motoblur sucks balls. and the UI of the X is pure crap.... The Incredible is nice but its gpu is complete balls aswell. Worse than the X which has a powervr 530 in it. Though the powervr530 is worse than the andreno 205 in the Tmobile G2. It seems like of all phones, the galaxy s lineup has the best GPU, followed up by the G2 with the andreno 205.

I really...REALLY want an HTC Desire HD.

Also considering returning the G2 and getting the Mytouch 4G however im sad it doesnt have a 4inch screen and typing on the 3.7/3.8inch screen might feel cramped. Plus it has the same internals basically as the G2...except the processor is at 1ghz but i doubt it will matter much.

So keep the phones coming guys, i HAVE to know whats soon to be here!

Ha!!! Good point. Not bashing Sprint on this, just saying it like it is. Everyone used the term 3G on their respective networks, & I think 4G will be the same.

You mean tonic? You know, with gin?

    Sorry. Had to.

I think if I was going to get something right now I'd be looking at an HTC phone. Is the Desire HD supposed to be coming to us soon? I'm a bit sour on Samsung right now and have never really been a Moto fan. Who else is there at this point making higher-end Android phones?

At this point, no matter who the manufacturer is, I don't think I'll ever be an early adopter again. I can see myself going with Samsung again for the right phone, though.

`Ghost` do you want to stay with T-Mobile or jump to a different carrier?

I'm willing to jump. I need info by monday. monday is the last day of my buyers remourse 14 day..

Im on the fence of keeping the G2 though..if i DO keep the G2 the wife gets the vibrant. she's made it clear that after i let her use it, that she loves it and will go to drastic measures to keep it. Anyone who is married knows what that means. :(

So simply getting another Vibrant is out of the question? Or did I miss that?
