I have just got my tab delivered 2hrs ago. All looks nice and shiny and works like a dream. I go to stream a movie from my dlna server and whats that??? NO ALLSHARE?

This is the first I have heard about it. Can someone shed some light on what I can use to pick up my server with all my vids and tunes on please.

    Current software versions:
    Model Number: GT-P7500
    Android Version: 3.1
    Kernel Version: 2.6.36.3

    Its really cheesed me off.

    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the reply

I have signed into Samsung App and there is no allshare there. I've searched for it and still nothing.

    I'm baffled!

a bit strange, might be that the tablet isnt supported.
here's the .apk i pulled from my galaxy s2
you could always give it a try and see if it works, since its a free app, i dont see anything wrong with posting it up.

I believe the AllShare app was added with the update to version 3.2 on the Tab. I have it on mine by default, although I haven't used it. This is on the 3G model, although the WiFi model should have it too.

I have All share on mine too (GT-P7500). Updated to 3.2 a couple weeks ago.

Go into settings > About device > software update > update

See if you get prompted to update.

I'm not sure what a dina server is but I went through a similar situation trying to stream video, music, and pictures from one of my computers on my home network to the tab. I found a program called qloud on the market. It works great, I am streaming all my media now. I found it very odd that I needed a third party program to do this.
    I hope this helps.
