Root New Root Method for HTC?

Thanks, I'll read through that thread and see if this is another option for root for the EVO 4G. It doesn't look like it adds a recovery so if decides to try the root method, make sure you have a PC36IMG.zip ready on your sdcard for the recovery

nice find. to bad i do not have any unrooted devices to try this on. looks pretty simple enough. curious on the unrooting option. i might want to try this out on my evo to test it. it will have to be after the holidays though.
