So I'm trying to figure out whether the new Samsung phones which are said to work with all frequencies (i've purchased an S4 active) will work with my carrier, Telstra... It's an Australian carrier... I'm worried because in the past (with my s2 and desire HD) i've had to purchase special models which run on the right frequencies...
Can anyone confirm that the new S4 active (among other phones) will run in any country?
I've found this info about my carrier: It runs on LTE/HSPA 2100Mhz, 1800MHz and 850MHz LTE/HSPA+ and soon to roll out 900MHz and 3g running on 850/2100mhz and Hi-band 1900-2100Mhz.
The normal S4 lists (850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz
Speed HSPA 42Mbps
4G Yes
Frequencies 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz (International bands 20, 8, 3, 1 and 7) Possible 850 MHz, international band TBC) on the clove website
Note the possible 850mhz 4g,
