New SGS2 on its way - A few Q's

Got this on my business account upgrade and wanted to know what software it'll be running (i.e. will I need to update it once I've got it or will it be on the latest)?

I'm very new to android phones so please bear with me...

Also; I use MS Outlook as my email but its a POP3 account as I dont have/need Exchange Server

When it comes to syncing the phone with my busines Outlook account for email, contacts & my diary; is it just a case of plugging it into the computer and the rest will be done (i.e. similar to the iPhone 4) or will I have to enter all the info manually?

Hi, there is a good chance it will be running 2.3.3 software which is the latest one for the uk, However, Samsung have released their 2.3.4 software in alot of places but not the UK as yet, due soon apparently.
I use outlook also (2007) and to sync it with my phone was ok on my main PC through Samsungs Kies software, however it didn't go so smoothly on my laptop, even though its a dual core 2ghz with 4gb memory, I think alot of people have problems with the software to be honest.
Setting up your pop accounts on the standard email program on the SGS2 is pretty easy, just input your email address and password and the phone pretty much does the rest.

It's Outlook 2007 that I use as well but I only have my PC in the office to use, no lap[top so hopefully that should be stright forward

I'll try and get it to sync when I receive the phone; if it doesnt work I'll just input the manual settings and hopefully it'll run that way ok
