SMS app always notifies there is a new message.
    But no new message inside.
    How to overcome this problem?

My phone is Samsung Galaxy Pocket.
    Ginger Bread is the OS.

    Stock message app?
Have you tried to reboot your phone?

Default SMS message application has the problem.
    I rebooted no change.
    New SMS notification still there.

Could you post a screenshot of your notification bar containing that symbol?

    No, it's SMS...
Do you have Cell Broadcasts enabled or unread SMS on your SIM-Card?

Enter the messaging app and then its settings... It should be there somewhere.
