    Good Day

I'm new to this forum and new to smart phones as I just got mine this week and retired the old flip phone dinosaur. Seems that there is a steep learning curve and I've been doing quite a bit of reading online. I've been having a few issues with my LG Optimus Net the first being that the time is not always correct, I've got it set for Automatic (use network provided values) it's almost like when the phone goes into the dorment state that it fails to keep the time. The other time issue is that the first screen (the one that you slide up to unlock) time is always different than the actual phone time. It seems that you use the phone a bit and it catches up. Right now the time on my laptop is 9:54 PM, the time on my phone says 9:32 PM and the screen saver says 8:51PM? Very confusing but I can tell you that the laptop is ofcourse the correct time. I've never owned a cell phone that didn't automatically keep the time perfectly. Of course I've got alot of questions but I won't bombard you folks with all my questions all at once.

    Thanks

Did you try setting the time yourself according to your laptop?

    Never have experienced this issue.
Mine always keeps its network provided time.
That might be your SIM Card Carrier problem.
