Dev-Host - LG CONNECT MS840.7z - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service Here is the link before I make this thread official I would like someone to also test to see if it works for them its working for me. Anyone with a bricked connect can try this and please post result, will be greatly appreciated. Also the guide I wrote is inside the Compressed file (THIS METHOD FELL OUT OF THE SKY AND DIED :( ) LINKS REMOVED THIS METHOD DOESNT WORK BUT THE BOTTOM ONE DOES 100%

    FOLLOW FROM HERE FOR UNBRICKING

But happy news here is the ultimate Unbricker

Most important first download VMWAREPLAYER Download VMware Player 4.0.4 - FileHippo.com

    Ultimate Unbricker https://www.dropbox.com/s/uhv20k0dzenphg5/connect img.7z

Get 7ZIP Download to extract the connectimg.7z that you just downloaded.

once Vmware player is installed and the connectimg.7z extracted somewhere go to the extracted connectimg folder then run the connect img.vmx once you open that file Vmware PLayer will launch and it will load up by then another popup will show up that will ask if you copied the vm or moved it DON'T PRESS AN OF THEM YET, now you will have to put your phone in download mode and just incase if you dont have the drivers already installed download this http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/...bileDriver_S4981MAN36AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.6.exe and install before connecting your phone. Once the drivers and everything is installed proceed, first remove the battery from your phone. Once the battery is removed connect the usb cable to your phone while the battery is disconnected. Now hold both volume button up and down on your phone and then put the battery in and you will see download mode pop up. It will say Download in Progress don't disconnect. Now that you have put the phone in download mode on Vmware Player select I moved it. And you will see it loads up to the suspended state where it will recover the phone no matter what! onward now once everything loads up on the bottom right corner right click on the little usb icon and select disconnect from host that means your phone will disconnect form your actual OS and connect to the Vmware Player, once it does on the updater tool click retry and you will see it will start recovering the phone if it stops just click retry again it will work did it hundreds of time. So good luck and appreciation will be appreciated for all the time and effort :D

So appreciation for the hard work will be greatly appreciated.

CHECK THE IMAGE PLEASE AND PROOF AS WELL AND MUST DO AS THE IMAGE SAYS https://www.dropbox.com/s/3x14bdkiyxmojzh/Capture.JPG

Guys sorry to make you so excited and all this waiting looks like the project is taking some more time it worked but now its not working and I am trying my best to fix it. Its not a rom or anything its a unlimited unbricker for anyone with a refurbished or any connect. This will allow anyone to unbrick without the stupid lg updater tool error. Wrote guide and everything but after couple of test its having issue. And I am trying my best to solve the issue right now thanks and sorry for all this suspense and stuff and sorry to disappoint you guys.

I mean I have another method that works definitely, but I wanted to make another method that is short and completely different or even better. It worked, but now its just failing so frustrated all this work and this better not put me down. But don't worry guys I have the other method that I am uploading. Which i have been using almost every week to recover my phone because I cant just stay without screwing my phone up lol.

I can't seem to get mine to brick to save my life...I even tried doing what bricked the first two, and it's just not working :p
If you need any help getting the process to become simplified, let me know Dulal. I don't know exactly what you're doing, but an extra mind with coding experience never hurts :D

When it asks what the SW version is, could it be possible to input something else for example "asshat" or something like that, which would result in my SW version being asshat or does it have to be ZVA?

Got damn that stupid problem again ahhhh all this work you know what f99k it I will just link the virtual image that I made lol that's permanent Its suspended in a state where all you gotta do is put the phone in download mode connect the phone to your computer click on the little usb icon all the way in the bottom right and select disconnect from host click restart and all done uploading that mofo now. And lol I tried so many random things on the Version thing and asshat I dont think it will actually put it on the build id.IMPORTANT please try to disable the LGE modem in device manager and then restart the unbrick process to see if it helps if it doesn't then say F*CK U and delete that Mofo. Man it worked for me couple of times but then this problem started I dont know why driver probs or something.

Thanks sir! Actually the program was coded by another genius after days of research I finally found it and then today started the project from early morning and finished in the night time. Whats sh99ty is that at the end it just fails to detect the phone. And well most of the work was tricks and stuff then getting the cab file with sniffing all this. But thanks a lot man I will upload the ultimate unbricker in a little, I will surely tell you of new things if I do find any. You guys are the best

Tried it by disabling the LGE modem. Still didn't work. Guess we'll have to use the suspended virtual machine. Not trying to make it sound like a worse option. It's just equally as good or maybe even better due to the simplicity.
