Root New Update Can I Still Root

    I just updated to the new update so im askin with this new update can i follow the root guide and have it be the exact same way

    i wonder the same thing too!

    can a evo follow the same unrevoked 3.12 steps post the Pandora/FPS fix update??

    Yes, but you won't be able to go back to full stock until a fix comes out for the S-OFF issue with the new Hboot.

    Correction, there is now a workaround: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8290138&postcount=22

    what is the s-off issue and why would i need/want to go back to full stock until this is patched if im rooting anyways

    s-off means no security, which allows you to do things such as changing files and it keeps you rooted. You may choose later to go back for a variety of reasons and may not be able to.
