New update???

    ok i got that new update for my phone last night, i was just wondering how to go back to the old version? this update is a joke... it makes my phone look different, and it deleted a;ll my contacts and screwed up my facebook sync. anyone know?

    There is no way back unless you want to root your phone...search on Root in this forum.

    It won't bring your contacts back. No idea why that happened...don't understand how it could, frankly, but that's a bummer.

    yeah, im not rooting my phone, i just want to get it back to the old firmware.

    Rooting your phone won't even bring it back, it's a one way trip to 2.0.1 land. I can see it screwing up the facebook stuff, but your contacts should have been syncing with your gmail account. Unless the contacts were manually transferred at the Verizon store, for some reason those don't sync.
