What do these new updates do? I just noticed there are updates available and maybe I'm late?

One of them is 1.32.654.6 system upgrade?
The other update I didn't bother to see what it said..

I got them too. Anyone know what they are for? Will these upgrades remove root-ability?

Out of curiosity, why? I am just now playing with it. I've had it for a while but never on an Android phone.

You can launch google talk and then press menu and then uncheck automatically sign in. then click the back button then menu again and click sign out and that will "kill" google talk.

    No New Updates for me.

OK you got me in an error. I meant Google Voice. I *do* use Google Talk though because that is how I chat with pretty much all of my friends. We typically keep Gmail open in a browser tab when we are at work and then use apps on our phones when away. Makes it easy for people without unlimited text and it keeps all conversations in a single thread.

I will have to check that out if I notice bad battery life. So far mine has been so-so with a good 8-10 hours of moderate use (frequent checking the web, email, browsing the market and installing apps) taking me from 100% to 40% but I also had the Flickr bug that people mentioned earlier. I just removed my Flickr account from the phone so we will see if that improves things at all. If I find it unacceptable at any point I will consider looking at Google Talk as a place where I can improve things.
