I have images arranged in a gridview. How can i implement a further view ( preferably a gridview or listview ) on top of this when any image is selected ?
It is just like going into a subcategory when a main category is selected.
It would be good if the background gridview is visible(faded) when the new view comes out.

    Welcome to AF!

You can overlay views in a RelativeView.

So your GridView and the view you would like on top should both be inside a RelativeView
