Hi everyone....great to see so many people with the desire I just hope someone can help me.

I've had my desire since last yr and recently had to swap it for a new one as I accidently dropped it in the garden.

I got my new desire today and have set it all up but there's one thing different from my previous desire...the keypad on the new desire won't vibrate when I type anything. Even whilst I'm typing this out on the phone...the keypad isn't vibrating.

I've looked under settings and touch input etc and everything is as it should be.

What else am I not doing?

    Any help will be appreciated

    Manny xx

Go to settings/language and keyboard/touch input/text input and check the box that says Vibrate When Typing.

Go to settings/language and keyboard/android keyboard and check vibrate on key press.

    Does that help at all?

Does the phone vibrate at all on incoming calls or messages?

If not, then I'm out of ideas.

Sometimes my KB stops vibrating. Giving the outer case a little tap brings it back though.

Yep tried all your suggestions and it still doesn't work.

The phone vibrates when a txt or call comes through.

I've just called o2 and they're sending out another replacement phone!

Hope the keypad vibrate works on that!
