    what's up droid people?

quick question and i'm sorry in advance if this has been beaten to death already but, how do i get the notification about the new 2.2 update to stop hitting my phone every 30 minutes (exaggeration). i don't want to update because i have bugless beast and i love it. i don't want to screw anything up and the notifications are getting annoying.

    thanks for any help!!

Or you can install the update and your alternate recovery will block installation and you should then be good to go.
