I just recently rooted my dinc with revoked 3 so I can install Android Tether. I am still using the stock 2.1 image. I been reading alot of people installing revoked forever to turn s-off.

I am just curious of how not turning off S will affect my phone if 2.2 OTA is sent to my phone? Would this cause any issues to upgrade to the 2.2 OTA?

I apologize if this question has been answered before, I just haven't seen the answer yet and I am not too familiar with Android OS.

    Thanks in advance!

Using unrevoked forever, basically just allows you to run unsigned firmware images. If you dont have a need for this, don't do it. There is no harm in not doing it, in fact it's the opposite. If you root, and want to revert, it's a simple process. If you install unrevoked forever, as of now, there is no turning back.
