    Hey,
I just got my LG Ally and am wondering how I can bring over some of my own MP3 files from my old phone (envy2 w/ sd card)
Btw, I am Denise and I love my Ally...already!

hi denise welcome to the forums (i'm new too lol)

Plug your Ally into your computer and drag the notification bar down. You will see an option to "mount" your SD card. Once you do that you can drag and drop your mp3 files right onto the SD card. I'm not sure if there's already a "Music" or "Mp3" folder but if not just create one on your card. Good luck!

I can follow most of this, but this message won't go away so I can refer back to it, will it?

It will stay here. Might get buried by newer posts but you can always refer back to it. :)

try emailing one of the devs over at Xda. They may already be working on it.

my friend bought an Ally and she doesn't know how to save pix from a pix msg to her phone, and I have an Incredible and I told her how I do it, but it won't work on hers. On mine I long press the picture and attach it to SD card.

I got my Ally a couple of days ago. I just figured out how to save pix from the msg. tap the picture and hold your finger there until a menu pops up. choose "Copy attached to SD card" it is the second option.
