Problem : My uncle's nexus 4 slips into loop when those 4 balls starts bouncing around.
    Information :
    Model : Nexus 4
    OS Build : Lollipop LMY48T.
    Methods tried :
    1. wipe cache partition .
    2. wipe data/factory reset.
    3. Tried to flash factory image, downloaded the image from here, but got .tgz file and have no idea what to do with it. (Dont have to tell now that I'm a little new to this).

Since this build is last build of Lollipop (I think) and nexus 4 cannot be upgraded to marshmellow, I cant update by sideloading the OTA zip file.

    Please help.

If ever there was a "good" device to bootloop, it'd be a Nexus.

    Hey, thnx for your help.

I flashed factory image successfully (manually and with Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit(Selecting Soft-bricked/bootloop option)). But I'm still facing the bootloop. :(
    Got any other suggestions?

If a factory image flash will not get it to boot normally and a factory reset in recovery after the flash doesn't work either, you could try root, TWRP recovery and a custom ROM. Several to choose from here

I have a 6 and a 9, haven't run into this problem myself but if you cannot get it to boot either with factory image or custom rom, I would suspect a hardware issue.

Tried everything but still no luck :(
But now Im facing a little different issue.
The animation of 4 flying dots ends with with a brief red light at the bottom of the phone.
