Help Nexus 7 drains while charging

I have a problem with my Google Nexus 7. I've had it for about three weeks, and whenever I try to charge it when it's charging, the battery still drains. All I do on it is some gaming and some internet browsing. I don't think I can post pics yet, I just got an account. What do I do?

are you using the cable that came with it?

Are you charging via AC or USB too? The latter won't provide enough power to charge and use at the same time.

i think its best to let it alone whilst charging. same happens on my phone if im using 4g and charging .
